Long time Leonia Chamber Musicians Society members Theresa Norris, Flute, Marsha Heller, English horn, Daryl Goldberg, Cello, and Pat Dougherty, Bass, and newly named members Roy Lewis, Violin and Maggie Speier, Viola, will be joined by Atsuko Sato, Bassoon and Steven Masi, Piano. The program will blend new and old with two short compositions by living composers Judith Shatin,”Wedding Song” for Flute and English horn and “Duako” for Flute and Bassoon by Monte Morganstern. This concert will be dedicated to the memory of William J. Scribner, Bassoon and long time Leonia Chamber Musicians member, and include a performance of the wonderfully melodic Sextet in Eb Major by Luigi Gatti (1740-1817) for English horn, Bassoon, Violin,Viola, Cello and Bass.
