Sooyeong Chang has earned her MFA from the Graduate School of Seoul National University and has studied at the Brooklyn Institute of Art. She continues to exhibit every year throughout the United States.
Janice Mauro is a fellow member of the National Sculpture Society, a Silvermine Guild Member, and The Sculptors Guild of NYC. With her sculptures that suggest narratives, Mauro creates scenarios that both resonate with viewers on a personal level as well as stimulate their imaginations.
After completing her major in Sculpture at Ewha Woman’s University, Jenny Kim immigrated to the United States and continued her career in the arts as a textile designer for 20 years. She has since been selected and exhibited by international art competitions in Seoul, Tokyo, New York, Hawaii, New Jersey, Ohio, etc. An enjoyer of multiple mediums and forms, Kim draws her inspiration from the divinity of nature and strives to express its beauty through her control of color balance, contrast and simplification.
“Elemental” will open on March 9, with an opening reception on Friday, March 15 from 4 to 6pm. The exhibition will be on view from March 9 to March 23.
