Event details

  • March 2, 2024
  • 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Ridgefield Park Civic Center 159 Park Street Ridgefield Park

Free to the public!
Carol (Leonia’s own!) and Rosemary met last year at the Busking Festival in Ridgefield Park. She was singing her original folk songs and Rosemary was swinging some jazz tunes. They became instant fans of each others music and each other!
They knew right then and there they had to do a combined concert.
Carol will sing a set (with the help of some of Rosemary’s harmonies), and Rosemary will do a set (with the help of Carol’s harmonies).
Carol will sing her original (amazing) folk and pop infused songs and will accompany herself on guitar. Frank Ponzio, Rosemary’s long time pianist, will add his magic to the night as we swing and samba our way through a mix of originals and standards. She may even throw in a little Sting for good measure. All in all we promise it to be a wonderful night of music!
The restaurants in the area are quite tasty so why not make a night of it and come early and dine before the concert – or bring some takeout along for dinner and music!
“…the one-woman versatility of Rosemary Loar. She is an effervescent soprano, a seasoned theater performer, a jazz bird, vivacious, funny and likeable.” Elizabeth Ahlfors- Cabaret Scenes
“What an amazing songwriter (Carol Crittenden) with a voice that melts your heart. She should be on your radar.” – Ron Olesko, WFDU-FM’s Traditions, Folk Music Notebook
